We’re getting ready for turkey harvest here at Everfree Farm. This year, we’ll have a limited number of heritage and broadbreasted turkeys available in mid-November, processed, packaged, and frozen for your Thanksgiving table.
Request a turkey using the form below. We’ll contact you on a first come, first served basis to confirm availability and arrange payment and pickup.
Choose your turkey
Heritage turkeys
Our heritage turkeys are our pride and joy. They take more time to grow, and we keep breeding groups on the farm year-round to raise the next generation.
This year’s smaller birds are young males (Jakes), with estimated dressed weights of 6–8 pounds. We’ll also have a few Toms who are retiring from our breeding flock, with estimated dressed weights of 12–16 pounds.
These birds differ in age as well as size. Let us know what you’re looking for, and we can help you choose a bird and discuss preparation.
Broadbreasted turkeys
If you prefer a turkey with plenty of breast meat, we’ll also have a very limited number of broadbreasted birds. These grow faster than our heritage turkeys, and we currently estimate dressed weights of 10–15 pounds.
All weights are estimates until processing. Tell us your preferred size and how flexible you are, and we’ll do our best to match your request.
Prices and availability
Turkeys are $7 per pound, or $6 per pound for current CSA members. Your total will be based on your bird’s actual dressed weight.
Each turkey will be processed, packaged, and frozen. Necks, livers, hearts, and gizzards are sold separately by request; please mention your interest in the form.
We expect birds to be available in mid-November. We’ll confirm payment and pickup/meetup/or delivery details with you before you need to collect your turkey.
Request your Thanksgiving turkey
Complete the form below with your preferred turkey type, approximate size, and quantity.
Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. We’re still determining how many birds will be available. We’ll review requests in the order received and contact you to confirm whether we can fill yours.
Thank you for choosing a turkey raised here at Everfree Farm.
